Heat from your own green waste

An estate produces a great deal of prunings and verge cuttings every year. That same material can heat the buildings.

Listed buildings are hard to insulate and hard to take off gas. Electrification also tends to run aground on grid congestion. A compost heating system delivers heat entirely independent of the electricity grid, from material you currently pay to have taken away.

What it would deliver

Prunings, verge cuttings and leaves no longer have to be taken away. They go into the system and deliver heat for the buildings on the estate, all year round and without a gas connection.

What is left over is compost for your own land. How much heat there is to be had in your situation depends on your residual streams and your heat demand. We are glad to work that out with you.

  • Heat without a gas connection or a heavier grid connection
  • Prunings and verge cuttings from the estate as fuel
  • Compost for your own land as a second yield
